All-American Here We Come!
Friday, September 18th
we are leaving on our eastern trek to Harrisburg,
we've decided on taking three head, 4 kids, a Grandfather,
2 fitters, 3 friends and their animals, 2 trailers,
a new display and the crowd favorite a TOY BOX.
We are hopeful to accomplish the following:
having the Roy Fall Calf and the Justice Sr. 2 pictured
Calla to show the 2 year old,
Bailee to show the Roy Fall calf
and whomever draws the short stick,
will strap the Douglas Spring Yearling. :-)
So everyone, I will try to post
frequently with new photos and show updates,
so keep eye and we'd love to hear from you.
I do know you can watch the shows online,
so check them out at www.holsteinworld.com, I think.
So, until Harrisburg, have a great day.

Cow Friends
As I have mentioned before "Our Family Vacation Destinations" are cow shows and what we look forward to most is seeing all our great friends. Funny as it may be, our children also now look forward to seeing their cow friends, many of which are children of our friends!
We are already looking forward to the next one--See you in Louisville Jordan, Joelle, Jeremy and Joey!
"Sweet Brown Sugar and Jersey Girl"
Sugar and Calla have started a Fabulous Show Season, from Reserve Grand Champion Jersey at the Ohio State Fair, 6th in the Jersey Futurity (65+ entries), and Supreme Champion of the Local County 4-H and Open Shows. No one but Calla washes, milks or cares for this girl, she is in charge of her and loves her! They are a GREAT PAIR!

Gina recently placed 7th at the 2009 New York Spring Dairy Carousel and is currently being flushed to Sanchez. We are also very excited about her Advent daughter due in July to Goldwyn, her pedigree is deep with 5 excellent dams.
We also welcomed a Fall Roy calf out of an EX-92 Durham. She is black and fancy! We think the kids should have fun! Keep your eyes out for her she'll be hard to miss.
Nominated Jr. All American
Naomi was nominated Jr. All American Fall Calf 2008 after a second in Harrisburg and first in Louisville. Congratulations to our daughter, Bailee and we are so very proud of you! Thank you Duane Cole for all you do and Adam Hodgins for this lovely lady. We are excited to see her take the colored sawdust in 2009!
Calla and Phoebe
Calla is now 11, she and Phoebe surely are two of the same. Both of them making their first trip outside of Ohio showing, enjoying their time in Louisville with our wonderful friends, the Lemmermen's and their 2008 highlight of being fifth at the All-American Holstein Show. Great job Calla, your determination is something to be admired!
